Tree Scarf

This is a silk scarf (Trees) it is 72 x 8". It is hand drawn with silk dyes, using no resist. This was a lot of fun doing as the dyes run to shape the tree. I added just enough to keep a shape. Sometimes without a resist it is very tricky. After you are finished you steam the scarf to set the dyes so they are permanent. Sometimes you never know what you might get when doing this. I steam mine in a pressure cooker and I have overcooked a few....

Warter Lilly Scarf

This is a water lilly silk scarf. It is 72" x 11" It is hand painted with silk dyes. They are permanent and do not fade. My friends hang them on the wall as a tapestry. I however, prefer to wear them.

Bryan's Tree

My son sent me this picture of a tree that he liked. I do not know where it was taken but because of the lightening and shape I thought it would make a nice painting.

Muppet

This is Muppet. She was fearless. She was bit by a rattlesnake actually and survived. Her skin turned black but she never really got sick. I think it just barely grazed her. I couldn't let her out alone after that as the hawks used to dive at her thinking she might make a pretty good dinner. Now, I only have a watch dog a shepard. Very big. She kills rattlesnakes. I'm very happy about that.

Lucy

This is Lucy. We painted together for 12 years. I still miss her even though she has been gone for a long time.

Anniversary Doll

This doll was made for me for my 15th anniversary. I just had to paint her.

California Poppies

This is a painting of Amador Hills when the poppies first start to cover the hills. The golden
poppy is the flower for California. Every year our hills are almost covered with small wild flowers snuggled in with them.

Spring Time

This is a painting of a shed at Daffodill Hill in Amador county. I am fortunate enough to live in the county and can visit this garden of flowers yearly,.

Azaleas

This painting is from a place in St. Simon Georgia when we were on vacation. The azaleas grow wild all over the island. We were fortunate enough to have been there just at the right time.
